The Quality Hotel has been a highly sensitive project for Plymouth City Council. Gilpin assumed responsibility for the site in January 2016. The Hotel held large quantities of asbestos which was transported to Swindon for disposal. The site had a 34 week program, facing many problems for Gilpin to resolve. Gilpin worked closely with Plymouth City Council to accommodate MTV crashes and various other key events leading through 2016.
