SOLAR POWERED FUTURE

Date: May 2025

At Gilpin Demolition Group, we are committed to progress and this extends across all of our services. This investment isn’t just about operational efficiency but shaping a more sustainable future for our team, clients and community.

Our operations base in Newton Abbot, just off the A38, comprises of our head office, waste transfer station and workshops which demands a substantial amount of power to keep thing rolling across all our projects.

This year, we took a big step towards a more sustainable future by investing in renewable energy sources. Mole Energy Ltd designed a bespoke solar and battery system for our site, installing over 400 panels, reducing our dependence on main grid electricity by a minimum of 60% and reducing the C02 generated by our operations base significantly. Our commitment does not stop here, sustainability is woven into our day to day and long-term planning as we continue to invest in our team, resources and methods.
